Description: The University of Missouri’s Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy and College of Arts & Science invite applications from early career historians for its U.S. History Post-Doctoral Fellowship. This is a one-year position, with the possibility of renewal for a total of three years. The Institute seeks a historian of U.S. political history (broadly defined) that works in the 1750-1900 period, with a preference for candidates whose research focuses on women’s history.
Description: Carroll College invites applications for a tenure track or one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Modern European and Sub-Saharan African History for the 2024-2025 academic year, with the tenure-track option dependent upon qualifications. The 4/3 teaching load includes such courses as the second semester of the Topics in Global History survey class, as well as upper-level courses in modern Europe and the history of modern Africa, excluding North Africa. Ability to teach Russian History an advantage.
The Leon Levy Center for Biography invites applications for four 2024 – 2025 Biography Fellowships and one Leon Levy /Alfred P. Sloan Fellow in science biography. Each resident fellow receives a stipend of $72,000, research assistance, writing space and library privi- leges. They also participate in monthly seminars and the intellectual life of the Graduate Center, CUNY.

NEHA announces an open call for papers for the Spring 2024 New England Historical Association meeting, to be held at Saint Anselm College in Manchester NH on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
NEHA invites submissions of individual papers or full panels / sessions, reflecting research from any historical field or subdiscipline, including applied historical scholarship in pedagogy or public history, and sessions in nontraditional formats, such as roundtables or screenings.
