This is a call for contributions to the Intellect Books series of publications, ‘Mediated Cities’.
The series is a cross disciplinary investigation of the modern, technologically laden, urban experience – its design, planning, representation, visualisation etc. The series welcomes contributions from the perspective of urban design, planning, cultural studies, digital art, emerging technologies, social media, film, photography etc.
The next book in the series will be drawn from the conference: Digital-Cultural Ecology and the Medium-Sized City.
Seeking submissions for a structured mini-conference at the Eastern Sociological Society on the topic of “Animal Sociologies: Multispecies Ethnography, Philosophical Ethology, Animal Culture.” This series of sessions at the ESS will focus especially on methodological, activist, and theoretical elaborations of research concerning animal life in the social sciences.
