“The Comics of Alison Bechdel: From the Outside In” is a proposed volume in the series Critical Approaches to Comics Artists at the University Press of Mississippi. This volume will contain an array of critical essays on the comics of Alison Bechdel, offering new examinations of her entire body of work.
The Louisiana Historical Association invites proposals for its 59th Annual Meeting to be held in Shreveport, Louisiana, on March 16-18, 2017. The meeting will take place at the Wyndham Garden Hotel.
13th International Meetings of the Middle Ages in Najera seek to provide an interdisciplinary forum for the discussion of all aspects of medieval studies. Each Congress has one particular special thematic strand on an area of interdisciplinary study in a wider context.
Next Autumn the town council of Nájera will once again host the International Meetings of the Middle Ages, organized by the Medieval Research Group on Atlantic Urban Societies of the University of Cantabria (http://atlanticports.unican.es/).
In 2017, ANZSANA will hold its annual conference at the Embassy of Australia, Washington DC. ANZSANA is a multidisciplinary organization that supports and promotes the study of Australia and New Zealand in North America. We welcome papers on any aspect of Australian or New Zealand studies as well as comparative studies involving Australia, New Zealand, and North America. The program committee invites proposals for individual papers, full panels, presentations, performances, films, roundtables, workshops, conversations, or alternative formats.
