Due to COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 Public History Summer School that was to be held in Wrocław, Poland, is moved to being online-only event and will take place as previously planned, June 1-5. The workshops and sessions will be organised with the use of new technologies.
The Institute of History of the University of Wrocław, Poland (IH UWr), Zajezdnia (Depot) History Centre, and the International Federation for Public History invite students, PhD candidates and practitioners to share their research in the framework of the summer school.
This year's Rebel Streets Conference is canceled due to Covid-19. Abstract submissions for the edited volume are accepted until April 30, 2020.

2020 Jane Jacobs Urban Communication Book Award
Urban Communication Foundation
The annual Jane Jacobs Urban Communication Book Award recognizes an outstanding book, published in English, which exhibits excellence in addressing issues of urban communication. It is named in honor of the late social activist and author of The Death and Life of Great American Cities. All entries must be published between January 1, 2018 and June 30, 2020. The book award brings with it a $500 prize.

One of the strongest principles that have shaped humanity is the belief or disbelief in God. A large population of world believe in God while some do not. Out of the current world population of 7.8 billion, about 500 million people of the world identify themselves as atheists- those who don’t believe in God. This population can be found in over 98 countries of the world.
The quarterly peer-reviewed journal State, Religion and Church in Russia and Worldwide / Gosudarstvo, religiia, tserkov' v Rossii i za rubezhom (http://religion.ranepa.ru/en) will dedicate a special thematic block in 2020 to the reactions of religious communities to the Covid-2019 pandemic.
