As part of its new online lecture series, the Collectif d’Anthropologie et d’Histoire du Spirituel et des Affects (CAHSA) is pleased to present a talk by Dr. Leslie Tuttle, Associate Professor of History (Louisiana State University, Bâton-Rouge). Her current research focuses on the changing perceptions of dreams in seventeenth and eighteenth-century France and the French diaspora.
The talk (in English) will last 30-40 minutes, followed by 20-30 minutes for discussion (in French and English).

Women's History Scotland Leah Leneman Essay Prize
Women's History Scotland awards a bi-annual prize of £100 for a new essay in the field of Scottish women's and gender history. The prize was established in 2000 to celebrate the work of Leah Leneman, one of the foremost historians of women in Scotland, and we wish to acknowledge the important work of Leah Leneman and to encourage new women's and gender gistorians to publish and to continue researching and writing on Scottish women's and gender history.
Please join us for the next meeting of the Modern Japan History Workshop on Friday, June 12th at 6 pm JST. Our presenter this month will be Karin Narita (Queen Mary University of London), who will present her work on conservatism and national identity (details below).
