The Graduate School Press of Syracuse University invites submissions for a contributed volume titled A Quit Lit Reader, to be published by the Graduate School Press and distributed by Syracuse University Press. The editors welcome contributions from graduate students, faculty, and administrators working within academia, while especially seeking reflections of those pursuing careers mostly or wholly outside it.
In 2016, the Serbian government announced that it was initiating a programme of restitution for Jewish victims of the Holocaust in wartime Serbia. The “heirless property restitution law,” the first of its kind in Eastern Europe, proposed that thousands of buildings confiscated from Jews during the occupation would be handed to the country’s Association of Jewish Communities. The government also undertook to offer financial support to the community in the form of an annual sum of 950,000 Euros for the next twenty-five years.

We invite you to consider submitting a proposal to any of the following panels by the deadline of July 15. Proposals are received and reviewed entirely online; please click on the specific panel link and follow instructions.

UPDATE: Due to the ongoing issues of the COVID19 pandemic the organizers have decided to reschedule this conference from its original November 2020 date to April 9-10, 2021. Also, the organizers are still accepting paper and panel presentations until December 31, 2020.
