The Association for Documentary Editing (ADE) invites applications for its annual prize to documentary editors and students at midpoint of a project heavily dependent on documentary editing and document sources. Preference is given to persons working on women in uniformed military service or in various military support services (such as the USO) or on the home front during wartime. Advanced students, scholars (including independent scholars), and editors may apply.
The William Morris Society in the United States is calling for applications for the 2021 Joseph R. Dunlap Memorial Fellowship. The deadline is December 1, 2020. Applications are judged by committee, and the decision will be announced by January 15, 2021.

The Young Scholar Initiative (YSI) Economic History Working Group and the University of Santiago de Compostela are organizing a two-day workshop on 11-12 March. The theme will be "Magnifying Spaces of Capitalism: A Collective Experiment."
This year, the AAR-WR has asked us to examine the timely question: How can religious groups, and Religious Studies, be a potent contributor to the public good amidst our current medical, social, economic, ecological, and political crises? We in Jewish Studies know that the storehouses of Jewish tradition, the methodological approaches of our sub-field, and the experiences of Jews throughout history offer a great deal of wisdom on these topics.
