In anticipation of a special issue of the Journal of Jesuit Studies (expected publication in fall 2027), we are seeking proposals for articles that treat the subject of Jesuits and disability. We welcome a range of disciplinary approaches (including history, art history, linguistics, theater, theology, philosophy, literature, pedagogy, psychology, sociology, musicology, astronomy, gender studies, etc.), but all contributions must focus on the subject of disability in the context of the work and legacy of the Society of Jesus.
