Network editors receive the H-Announce daily digest and choose relevant content to repost to their networks. On Museum day, museum admission is free with ticket from the Smithsonian Museum day link!

Morven is participating in Smithsonian Magazine’s national Museum Day, offering free admission to all Museum Day ticket holders. Tickets will be available for the public to download beginning August 15th, 2019 at www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday. Docent-led tours will be offered at 11:00 a.m., noon, 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.

Midwestern History Association Sixth Annual Conference

Taking place on May 12th & 13th, 2020 in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, the Midwestern History Association (MHA) in partnership with Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies at Grand Valley State University welcome paper proposals for the sixth annual Midwestern History Conference. Going into its sixth year, attendees at the MHA conference have helped revive the field of Midwestern studies, and all that it encompasses. We encourage all those interested in the study of the American Midwest to submit their proposals by the deadline of January 3rd, 2020.
