Urdu Studies is a bilingual (English and Urdu) rsearch journal published in the form of thematic book series (kitabi silisla) by Prof. Arshad Masood Hashmi, Head, Department of Urdu, Jai Prakash University, Chapra (India). Its first issue published in February 2019 contains research papers related to postcolonial Urdu studies written by Mehr Afshan Farooqui, Zehra Mehdi, Najeeba Arif, Shahnaz Nabi, Mula Bakhsh, Nasir Abbas Naiyyar, Huzaifa Pandit, Shahab Zafar and Arshad Masood Hashmi.
