The Southern Association for the History of Medicine and Science has extended its deadline for abstract submissions for our 2024 conference, to be held March 7-9. We welcome submissions from scholars at all career stages on topics related to the history of medicine, science, and technology.

The International Network of Genocide Scholars' Executive Board and the Conference Organizing committee have carefully considered global events in light of our recent application deadline for our upcoming conference, Genocide and Survivor Communities: Agency, Resistance, Recognition at the USC Dornsife Center for Advanced Genocide Research.
Greetings from the Southern Historical Association! You are invited to attend the last Junior Scholars Workshop of 2023. Now in its third year, the JSW is designed to encourage advanced graduate students and recent graduates in the field of southern history by providing an opportunity for them to share their work with senior historians and receive constructive feedback. Attendees receive a pre-circulated paper about a week in advance. At the meeting, the presenter will briefly introduce their ideas, followed by two short comments by more senior scholars.
The University of Michigan Library invites applications for fellowships for research in residence. Three fellowship opportunities are available to researchers whose work would benefit from onsite access to our special collections.
