To submit an announcement, log into the Commons and click "Create" in the right hand menu of the H-Announce page. If you don't have an account, please register and navigate back to H-Announce.
To receive individual or daily digests of all H-Announce postings, log into the Commons, and click "subscribe to this network" in the right hand menu of the H-Announce page.

Daily Publishing Schedule
Jobs, Reviews, & H-Net This Week Digests are published on Monday and distributed to Daily Digest subscribers on Tuesday morning.
All other announcements are moderated as they come and are distributed to Daily Digest subscribers the following day.
Please note: Announcements are posted and distributed the same day they are moderated; however, daily digests are distributed the day after moderation. Network editors receive the H-Announce daily digest and choose relevant content to repost to their networks. To post an announcement directly to a specific network, you may select that network(s) in the post announcement interface. Announcements posted to networks are subject to individual network moderation and publishing policies.

Our social, political, and religious climate has been dominated recently by a mood of collective fear, regarding everything from economic anxiety, the outbreak of new and frightening diseases, mass shootings, social tension and violence between law enforcement and communities of color, environmental and technological dangers, and the threat of terrorism both foreign and domestic.
The III CHAM International Conference will be held in Lisbon, 12th to 15th July 2017, and its main theme is "Oceans and Shores: Heritage, People and Environment".
The call for panels is now open. The deadline for proposals is 5th December.

Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Scholar Rescue in North America
The Canadian Society for the History and Philosophy of Science (CSHPS) is inviting scholars working on the history or the philosophy of science to submit abstracts for individual papers or proposals for sessions. The Society's annual conference is part of the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences meeting in Toronto, Ontario, and will be held between May 27-29, 2017. The deadline for submitting abstracts is January 20, 2017.

The Women's Studies Program at Texas Tech University proudly announces a call for proposals for the 33rd Annual Conference on the Advancement of Women, which will take place on the campus, April 21, 2017. We invite papers and panel proposals that explore the manifold meanings of movement and change as connected to, created by, and/or caught up in the presence of women's, gender, and identity issues, in both contemporary and historical frameworks. Interdisciplinary proposals, as well as those from disciplines and specialty subject areas are also encouraged to submit.
