We are pleased to announce that the SLAS 2018 Winchester organising committee has received a large number of excellent panel proposals as well as a large number of individual paper proposals. Nevertheless, we are extending the call for submissions with an aim to fill a few remaining slots with innovative panels in less-represented disciplines in the field, including economics, health and natural sciences, sociology, and geography.
