Global Nineteenth-Century Studies, a journal published twice a year by Liverpool University Press on behalf of the Society for Global Nineteenth-Century Studies (www.global19c.com), is seeking expressions of interest for two positions on the editorial team: book review editor for history and book review editor for art history. Asian Affairs is very pleased to announce that all articles in the current issue - a special issue marking 75 years since the independence of India and Pakistan - are available on Open Acccess until the end of this month, August 2022.

The special issue is the result of a conference jointly organised between Asian Affairs and Neeti Nair of the University of Virginia. It was co-sponsored by the Institute of the Humanities and Global Culture at UVA.
