The third annual David Foster Wallace Conference will take place July 28-30, 2016 at Illinois State University (Normal, IL). The Conference has accepted my panel proposal, and we have currently secured two of three presenters. I am seeking proposals for a third panelist to present a paper on the relation of Wallace and/or his work to any area within religious studies and philosophy of religion (e.g., Wallace and Buddhism, the nature of "belief," how paradox functions in Wallace and religion, metaphysics/identity, pragmatic spirituality, the "higher power" in recovery programs, etc.).
