The Historian is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal with a global readership and an eighty-year history of publishing articles of the highest quality across the discipline’s many fields and foci. The journal welcomes manuscripts on all regional, temporal, and thematic fields of history.
Within the framework of the European Research Council (ERC) project "The Dark Side of the Belle Époque. Political Violence and Armed Associations in Europe before the First World War" (http://www.dissgea.unipd.it/erc-prewaras, PI prof. Matteo Millan), the Università degli Studi di Padova - Department of Historical ans Geographic Sciences and the Ancient World - and the École Française de Rome (EFR) will be holding an international workshop in ROme (EFR) on 23 January 2019.
The Association of Art Museum Curators (AAMC) is seeking session proposals focusing on internal and external engagement within art organizations for its 2019 Conference, slated for May 4-7, 2019 in New York City. This is an internationally relevant topic shaping the future of our arts organizations and encompasses dialogues about access, inclusion and empathy.
