Join our exciting project and transcribe the letters of Eugen Rosenstock-Huessy, an important 20th century German philosopher and key player in the post-Nietzschean religious revival in the Weimar Republic. This archival collection includes correspondence with influential figures like Franz Rosenzweig, Karl Barth, Martin Buber, and others. We also have included personal letters. German speakers [and Sütterlin readers] are needed to make this historical treasure accessible for researchers worldwide. Contribute to scholarly research, preserve history, and sign up as a volunteer today!

Vernon Press invites book chapters for a forthcoming edited volume on the subject of “Contradictions in Policy and Politics in the PRC.”
Decades of unprecedented growth have launched China to the status of a world power, but China’s economy appears to be facing strong headwinds on many fronts. Given the preponderant role of the CCP in both economics and politics, it has been suggested not only that China defies traditional analyses which turn on the state/private dichotomy, but also that the world’s largest political party has a unique ability to manage crises as they arise.
The theme for IMC 2024 will be 'Crisis'. Hoping to repeat the success of the IMC 2023 Chinggisid Ripples sessions we invite paper proposals relating to a very broad conception of crisis relating to any period and aspect of Mongol conquest and rule within and across Eurasia. Here the concept of crisis is not limited to the mid-fourteenth-century upheavals affecting imperial Mongol political formations. Crisis should absolutely be taken in its broadest form, including impacts of conquest and empire at any level, location or period.
