H-AMCA is a network devoted to the study of modern and contemporary art from the Arab world, Iran, and Turkey. We aim to create a network of interested scholars and organizations to enable historians and other scholars to easily communicate current research and teaching interests, and to promote scholarly cooperation between both persons and organizations.

CFA: Postdoctoral Fellowship, 20th-21st C built environment, any geographic specialization

The Humanities Collegiate Division at the University of Chicago is accepting applications from historians of the twentieth century and contemporary built environment for a four-year postdoctoral teaching appointment as a Harper and Schmidt Fellow who holds the rank of Collegiate Assistant Professor. The Fellow is a member of the College Faculty whose primary responsibility will be to teach art history classes in the College's general education (Core) program. An ability to incorporate studio teaching into regular courses is desirable.
