NOTE 1 of special interest:
The Labor Campaign for Single Payer health care is having its national meeting August 22-24 in Oakland. I would personally urge all of our organizations (COCAL, NFM, national state ands local union formations, our contingent caucuses (in AFT, AAUP, NEA etc.) and other independent groups (OPTFA, COPFA, WPTFA, etc.) to send a delegate.

NOTE: Apologies to all who accidentally received a list of emails with the last UPDATES and all those whose emails were on the exposed list. This was my error and will, hopefully, not be repeated.
