"Adjuncting" today has become what is largely a dead end street for those doing the work. However, many colleges and universities are unable to operate without them. Therefore, it's time to collectivize, unionize, whether the employers like it or not, and then strike at the beginning of a semester to hit them where it hurts. Unfortunately, too many schools have abandoned their primary mission in favor of "other" things, additional administrators, and sky high salaries for upper level administrators. It's time for those who actually do the work of the school to knock the underpinning out
