This episode is so useful. I wish there were links to peer review rubric samples but still , this is so informative.

Would this become available through a Podcast app by chance?

Dear Heng Du,

Thanks for listening! It is not as yet available on a podcast feed, but if we find a way to do that, I'll post it here.

And Elif asked about links to sample peer review rubrics. I don't know of any off the top of my head, but I would suggest looking at the materials on the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) website: https://publicationethics.org/. There, they have lots of practical, detailed information on peer review processes, ethical guidelines, etc. Perhaps Feeding the Elephant readers can point to some examples of publicly available peer review rubrics.

All the best,

Yelena

Many thanks Yelena!

This is so helpful, thank you! I especially love how concise it is. I am working with grad students as they prepare to do a mock peer review assignment, and this is a perfectly assignable piece.
