Description:

One lesson taught by nature and not then found in classroom course was this result from the 1933 Long Beach, California Earthquake. Here, picture shows the devastation resulting in Compton, Callifornia, next door to Long Beach, of the Compton Junior College[Community College now] campus.

Tremblor brought extensive damages to that education facility. Example of the active Pacific Coast fracture zone from that period to the 20th Century.
