Dear All:
I will be teaching H-65 "Material Foundations of Map History, 1450–1900'" at the Rare Book School, 11–16 June 2023. The course will meet in Charlottesville, on the University of Virginia campus. Indeed, while the main UVa library (with RBS quarters) continues its multi-year renovations, RBS meets in Thomas Jefferson's famed rotunda and lawn.
There'll be hands-on printing demonstrations and sessions in the UVa special collections.
Applications are rolling, but there is a 20 February 2023 deadline for the first round of application decisions.
We are pleased to announce the newly opened calls for in-residence fellowships at the Centre for Advanced Study in Sofia for 2023-2024.
Application deadline: 31 March, 2023.
Under the Advanced Academia Platform CAS offers a number of different fellowship schemes for postdoctoral researchers from the social sciences and the humanities for 2023-2024 academic year.
