I am interested in facilitating multiple uses of the still relatively limited African language content online. In that context I have a question for the Hausa language instructors on the list concerning a development related resource I came across not long ago.
The Scientific Animations Without Borders (SAWBO)/1 project at the University of Illinois produces animations on development topics (agriculture, health) that are accessible via mobile devices. Each animation is accompanied by voiceovers in several languages, and a number of them have Hausa language audio./2
