CEHS Travel and Research Grants

     The Central European History Society (CEHS) seeks applications from North American doctoral candidates (ABD) and recent PhDs (up to three years after completion of degree) in Central European history for travel and research grants up to $4,000. Funds are intended to support dissertation research and follow-up research, and may be used on travel between 1 April and 31 December 2017.

Call for Applications: AAS Japan Studies Grants

The AAS Northeast Asia Council (NEAC) offers Japan Studies grants as a result of generous funding from the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission.

Grants are available in the following categories: United States or Japan research travel; Japan conference/seminar/workshop organization; invitation of Japan distinguished speakers (see the links below for details).

Call for Applications: 2017-18 Friends of the Princeton University Library Research Grants

Each year, the Friends of the Princeton University Library offer short-term Library Research Grants to promote scholarly use of the Library’s special collections. The award is $1,000 per week (up to four weeks) plus transportation costs.

 

Hartman Center Travel Grants & Fellowships

The John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising and Marketing History, part of the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Duke University, announces the availability of three grants for research travel to our collections: the Alvin Achenbaum travel grant, FOARE Fellowship for Outdoor Advertising Research, and the John Furr Fellowship for research in the J. Walter Thompson Co. Archives.
