Google has vast resources that are often insufficiently used by librarians or library users. To remedy this, chapters are sought for an anthology by practicing public, academic, school, special librarians, LIS faculty in the United States and Canada for creative, practical approaches that use Google applications. Topics sought such as: Google as a Library Partner or Competitor; Using Google in Library Operations; Google+; Picasa; Earth; Sky; Research.
A new issue of the online open access multidisciplinary Journal of International and Global Studies Volume 5, Number 2 April 2014 can be found at www.lindenwood.edu/jigs. This issue has many Review Essays and Book Reviews dealing with Asian Studies published by members of the H-Asia list.
Please submit essays to this journal for consideration. The deadline for essays for the Fall issue is August 15, 2014.
