Book review editor introduction/call for reviewers

My name is Marieke Hendriksen and I am the new book review editor for H-Material Culture. I am a medical historian, and particularly interested in the material culture of eighteenth-century medicine. Currently I work as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, on a project on metals in eighteenth-century medicine. Fully funded PhD studentships (London)

Two studentships arise from a major three-year project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, titled "Memories of Fiction: An Oral History of Readers' Life Stories," led by Dr. Shelley Trower, University of Roehampton, and Dr. Graham Smith, Royal Holloway, University of London. We are seeking to award two PhD studentships to start 1 October 2014.
